✔ Preloaded configurations for zero backlash & rigidity
✔ Integrated sensors (SKF Insight®) for condition monitoring
SKF super precision angular contact ball bearings are high-precision bearings designed specifically for applications that require high precision and long lifespan. They are particularly suitable for high-speed operation, light load, and low operating temperature environments. Compared with bearings designed in E and D, super precision angular contact bearings are equipped with the maximum number of very small balls, which reduce the centrifugal load on the outer raceway and thus decrease the stress on the rolling contact surface. Due to the small volume of the balls, the required bearing rings have a larger cross-sectional height, which makes them less sensitive to irregularities in the bearing seat and reduces deformation caused by irregularities in the bearing seat
Characteristics and advantages
High speed and light load: These bearings are designed for high-speed operation and are suitable for environments with light loads and low operating temperatures. The use of small balls reduces centrifugal load and lowers the stress on the rolling contact surface
High precision: The internal geometric structure of super precision angular contact beads has been optimized for various precision applications, such as electric spindles, metal cutting machines, woodworking machinery, and machining centers
High load capacity: Super precision angular contact beads designed specifically for driving tools have high axial and radial load carrying capacity while maintaining low noise and vibration levels
High rigidity and low vibration: The design of these bearings reduces stress under harsh conditions, making them suitable for applications that require high rigidity and low vibration
application area
These bearings are widely used in various mechanical equipment, including:
Machine tool spindle: providing high precision and reliability, suitable for various machine tool applications
Drive tool: Specially designed bearings can withstand high axial and radial loads, suitable for various drive tool applications
Other precision applications: such as marine gyro stabilizers, micro turbines, machine components in the semiconductor industry, and racing wheels
SKF Super-Precision Angular Contact ball Bearings deliver unmatched accuracy, speed, and reliability for mission-critical applications. With hybrid ceramic options, smart
monitoring, and extreme rigidity, they are the preferred choice for industries demanding sub-micron precision.
