IKO spherical bushings are precision-engineered, self-aligning bearing units designed to accommodate shaft misalignment while supporting high radial loads. These maintenance-free components feature a spherical outer surface that rotates within a mating housing, providing ±3° to ±5° angular misalignment compensation.

IKO spherical bushings are maintenance-free, self-aligning bearing units designed to accommodate static and dynamic misalignment while supporting high radial loads. These components combine hardened spherical surfaces with specialized liner materials to provide long service life in oscillating or rotating applications.

Design Features

Construction: Hardened steel inner ring with PTFE composite liner (0.5mm thickness)

Surface Finish: Mirror-polished raceways (Ra ≤ 0.1μm)

Load Capacity: Dynamic radial load up to 350kN (SB-50 series)

Misalignment: Compensates up to ±4° angular deviation

Friction Coefficient: 0.08-0.12 (dry running)
